There are many more posters, like these, that we are going to hang up around the school to get everyone's attention. Our voices need to be heard. Let's keep fighting for what we believe in.

Save Our Speech Team

     As I'm sure many of you have heard, our Las Colinas Speech Team is said to become a 'club'. Meaning less time to practice, prepare, learn and become such a supportive, helpful, loving, caring, meaningful family. We need all of your help to keep this as an elective.
    This isn't just an elective, it is so much more. It has taught so many people how to speak in front of people, how to not be afraid to talk to other people, how to become a family, how to deal with other people, how to handle rejection, how it feels to win, how it feels to come out of your share and how to be themselves and shine. This shouldn't be taken away from anybody. An online petition will be up shortly and I will post another post with the link for that.
     Please spread this to everyone, even if they don't know our speech team. Also, speechies, please send in your stories that I can post with your name or without.
